* Reporting Accountant
* Up to £520 per day - Inside IR35
* Initial 3 - 4 month contract
* Hybrid role working 2-3 days in the Halifax office
Working for a Global Software provider we are looking for an experiencedReporting Accountant to assist in a number of areas including statutory accounting, support on audits and tax comps
Thisis an initial 3-4 month role but could potentially extend or expand. The ideal candidate will need to start ASAP and be happy to commute to Halifax at least 2 times per week.
Scope of role
* Support in progression of audit / accounts for 6 UKentities, including 1 principal trading entity
* 15 month period to December 2021
* Period covers acquisition in February2021; 15 month period aligns us with Parent co year-end
* Preparation of UK tax comps (working with external tax advisers)Subject to progress on the above, may also look to start / progress:
* R&D tax credit claim vs 15m period to December2022
* Transfer pricing study
* Audit/accounts activity for an overseas entity
Candidate - potential profile / experience
* ACA qualified, i.e. to provide good grounding in audit / accounts
* Experience working in a Reporting role
* Strong technical accounting skills
* Experience of preparing tax comps / tax matters (working with tax advisers, as required)* Ideally, track record of delivering audit/accounts in industry as well as practice
* Ability to work independently, as wellas alongside other members of the Finance team
* Deadline driven
* Good communication skills
