* Reporting Accountant
* Up to £400 per day - Outside IR35
* Initial 3 - 4 month contract
* Mustbe able to start Early July
* Hybrid role working 2-3 days in the Halifax office
Working for a Global Software provider we are looking for an experienced Reporting Accountant to assist in a number of areas including statutory accounting, supporton audits and tax comps
This is an initial 3-4 month role but could potentially extend or expand. The ideal candidate will need to start ASAP and be happy to commute to Halifax at least 2 times per week.
Scope of role
* Support in progression of audit / accounts for 6 UK entities, including 1 principal trading entity
* 15 month period to December 2021
*Period covers acquisition in February 2021; 15 month period aligns us with Parent co year-end
* Preparation of UK tax comps(working with external tax advisers)
Subject to progress on the above, may also look to start / progress:
* R&D tax credit claim vs 15m period to December 2022
* Transfer pricing study
* Audit/accounts activity for an overseas entityCandidate - potential profile / experience
* ACA qualified, i.e. to provide good grounding in audit / accounts
* Experience working in a Reporting role
* Strong technical accounting skills
* Experience of preparing tax comps / tax matters (working with tax advisers, as required)
* Track record of delivering audit/accounts in industry as well as practice
* Ability towork independently, as well as alongside other members of the Finance team
* Deadline driven
* Good communication skills
