Description:
Purpose of the Role
You will be responsible for designing and delivering technical and functional changes across all SAP HR modules including Payroll for both the Republic of Ireland and UK jurisdictions.
You willensure that implementation and change configuration processes and tooling are appropriate and effective and that the quality ofthe solutions delivered into operational support is fit for purpose and drive real value.
Key Accountabilities
* The technical and functional aspects of all SAP HR and Payroll modules (ROI and UK) including pensions integration.
* Lead the planning, design, and ongoing change of the SAP HR (Payroll ROI and UK) and Pensions solution.
* Understand the business requirementsand be able to translate this into a system requirement/solution.
* Produce the required Delivery Artefacts - Design throughto Deployment.
* Work through the most effective and appropriate solution designs and agreeing delivery plans with Project Team and business stakeholders
* Analyze how best to address the business requirements in SAP (e.g. standard SAP offering or custom solution) and provide cost and effort assessments.
* Develop and maintain functional specification/ documentation from draft through to sign-off to support decisions and programme delivery.
* Ensure that all artifacts are crafted and maintained in line with the Bank's delivery methodology.
* Ensure the Bank's IT change delivery process is followed.
* Work closely with the Project Manager, other systems SMEs and other project team members to ensure the successful delivery of the projects.
* Interact and liaise with both business and technical stakeholders
* Be an effective communicator, team player, and proactive withthe ability to work independently and manage other development resources.
* Challenge current processes practices and system configuration to provide the best solution for the Group and Business.
Essential Qualifications
* BSc or MSc in Engineering & Computer Science or equivalent qualification
Essential Skills & Experience
As a SAP HR/Payroll SME, you should…:
* Have 10+ years of configuration experience in SAP HR / Payroll and have both a strong functional and technicalknowledge of ECC.
* Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Irish & UK payroll and understand regulatory and statutory requirements in relation to HR and Payroll.
* Have the ability to read and amend Payroll schemas and to create and amend custom calculation rules (PCRs).
* Have the ability to create Data upload routines using LSMW and be familiar with 3rd party products such as Clone and Test, Employee File Management, JIRA, UFT etc.
* Have a good understanding of integration points between SAP HRand other related modules including Finance and Controlling.
* Have experience working in all aspects of the E2E delivery - Requirements, Functional Specification, Technical Analysis/Design, Configuration, System Test, UAT, and Deployment.
Functionalknowledge of other SAP modules such as:
* HR Authorisation principles and role creation
* In-depth understanding of HR data structures including PA, OM, PD, Payroll, and Time.
* Strong working knowledge of ESS and MSS (Dual stack Java and ABAP systems)
Other skillsets
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently
* Proven track record working in multi-skilled teams supporting diverse projects
* Ability to interact with both business and technical stakeholders
Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Proficient Technical ability in ABAP* SAP HR certified (ECC 604 or higher)
* Financial Services Experience
* Come from a system implementation background leading requirement and design workshops through to deployment and Post go-live support
