Description:
Our client with offices nationwide is now seeking to hire a Semi Senior Accountant to jointheir team on a permanent basis in Dublin or Cork.
The role is offered as hybrid.
The role:
They are looking for a highly motivated individual to join their expanding Outsourced Accounting team.
Main responsibilities:
preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts and cashflow forecasts with appropriate variance analysis and business commentary for discussion with client;
preparation of financial statements for audit exempt clients and liaising directly with client auditors on any matters arising;
access to and training on a number of accounting systems;
assist in maintaining and developing client relationships;
working to continuously improve and refine processes;
provide guidance and training to new trainees:
liaise with other functions within the company acting as a finance point of contact; and
managing assignments within appropriate budget and resourceallocations.
Skills and attributes:
1 - 3 years' experience required;
Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or similar qualification) or Accounting Technician Qualification;
working knowledge of monthly reconciliations and identifying opportunities for development within existing control procedures;
strong technical knowledge;
capable of working on your own initiative;
ambitious and want to pursue a career in practice;
team player with excellent IT, communication and interpersonal skills; and
record of managing a portfolio of client accounts simultaneously.
