The Role
SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant for a super fast-growing social gaming company with offices in Gibraltar. The ideal accounting candidate will be qualified or nearly qualifying CIMA or ACCA or similar qualification and must beexceptional on excel with high level skills for reporting, smart and self-motivated and above all capable of scaling up the finance business function alongside the Finance Director. The Senior Accountant will be number 2 to the Head of Finance on site inGibraltar.

What You Will Be Doing
* Control the month end reporting process reporting into the Head of Accounting with responsibility for direct reports.
* Have a natural ability to work aspart of a team, but also on their own initiative as well as having confidence to make decisions, prioritise workload and meet deadlines under pressure.
* Oversea the month end process - issuing a flash P&L.
* Monthly review all balance sheet reconciliations to include payment providers and approval of journals to be posted into our accounting system prepared by the team.* Ensure timely clearance of all balance sheet reconciling items.
* Monthly review of the P&L to ensure that all lines areproperly accounted for with any variances explained.
* Complete a month end reporting pack for discussion with the Head of Accounting.
* Agreeing intercompany balances at month end.
* Ensure controls are in place to support year-end audit.
* Manage the year-end audit process to ensure a clean audit.
* Supervise a reconciliations assistant and review and approval of dailyjournals.
* Agree payment runs for supplier invoices.
* Assisting in the budget and forecasting process.
* Developing themonth end pack for senior management.
* Cashflow preparation.
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
* Experience in online gaming preferred.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics.
* Qualified CIMA/ACA/ ACCA Accountant with +5 years PQE.
* Advanced proficiency with Excel
* Experience with BI reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI is an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills - fluent in English - with a high attentionto detail and ability to multitask.
* Driven by curiosity and a "let's do this" problem-solving mindset.
* Able to break down complex topics effectively and articulate data insights into actions.
* Goal oriented individuals with a strong focus on completing tasks and producing high quality results within a fast-paced environment.
* A positive attitude with a passion for innovating, learning and sharing knowledge.
