Description:
An excellent manufacturing business are seeking to recruit a Senior Account to join them on a 12 month contract basis (with a possibility for extension) to assist with extra work load.
This is a hybrid role with the successful candidate expected to work on site 2 or 3 days per week.
The Senior Accountant role:
- Preparing and reviewing key reconciliations
- Assisting with month end procedures
- Involvement with quarter and year end
- Analyse, record and report accounting transactions in a timely manner- Perform detailed financial analysis of the departments chart of accounts and financial statements
- Review existing internal controls on a regular basis and develop new internal controls as necessary
- Prepare general ledger entries and account reconciliations
The Successful Senior Accountant:
- Very proficient in excel
- Qualified with an accountant degree is desirable but not essential
- Very good communicator
- Previous experience in an accountant role in a manufacturingenvironment would be beneficial
Working hours are flexible;
Start: Between 7:30am and 09:00am
Finish: Between 16:00 and 18:00
