SENIOR AUDIT ASSOCIATE | SALARY CIRCA £38,000 DOE, Plus an excellent benefits package| CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCY | GLASGOW
SRGEurope are working with one of the Big 4 who are lookingto recruit a new Senior Auditor for their expanding commercial audit team. The firm are looking to appoint an auditor to come inat a senior level, with prior experience of managing a small audit team as well as being fully qualified in ACCA or equivalent.The opportunity has arisen in the team due to an influx of new audits, therefore the team is required to expand by appointing anew Audit Senior.
Audit Senior Responsibilities:
* Full Audit review work
* Support, train and develop a small team of junior audit staff
* Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with government legislation
* Supervising and guiding more junior members of the team
* Ensuring client and statutory deadlines are routinely met and exceeded* Reporting directly to the Audit Manager to assistant with the investigation of all audit issues
* Manage a large client portfolio with large annual turnovers
Audit Senior Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent qualification, preferably first time passes
* 3+ years' experience within a Top 20 chartered accountancy practice
* Experience applying IFRS/ UK GAAP
* Full audit review work; leading, planning and reporting on audits
* A proven track record of managing large commercial clients and delivering external audits
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Attention to detail to ensurehigh quality audit work
* Competent in planning and completing the auditing of client accounts
* Experience managing ateam of junior staff members
