Job Title: Senior FP&A Accountant
Location: Limerick
Reporting to: Director of FinanceOur client, a renowned organization in Limerick, is seeking a Senior FP&A Accountant to join their Finance team. The SeniorFP&A Accountant will report directly to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for implementing financial systems,processes, and controls that safeguard the assets of the business and ensure rigorous financial control exists within the organization.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Finance Director in the preparation of budgets/forecasts and short/medium strategic plans
* Drive the financial planning of the business by ongoing analysis of its performances and manage business risks* Review and oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, daily, weekly and monthly
* Prepare monthlydetailed variance analysis against budget and review the same with the Leadership Team
* Implement an industry-specific budgeting system
* Continuous improvement of finance processes and internal controls. Lead future system changes and improvements requiring inter-departmental buy-in
* Drive accountability for controls into the relevant departments to enable Finance to act as a reviewer and advisor of best practices
* Manage financial control and reporting of Inventory, oversee inventory control systems, stock counts, and procedures
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant - 3 to 5 PQE
* Experience working withinthe Hotel or Retail Sector
* Ability to build relationships across the business
* Experience working in a Senior Finance position
* Demonstrated Commercial acumen
* Ability to manage a team
* Strong MS Office skills and adaptability to using newsystems
* ERP System experience is desirable

They will have the ability to influence senior stakeholders and colleagues within the organization toensure effective decision-making. The Senior FP&A Accountant will have a proven track record of delivering results, managing multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.
