THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is partnered with a growing software business, based in Ipswich. After continued growth, my client is looking to hire a Senior Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team and report into the Finance Director. The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for
SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Preparation of the monthly management accounts including the board pack
* Prepare analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers for presentation to the board
* Monthly Management Reports
* Balance Sheet Reconciliation
* Responsible for the Fixed Assets Register
* To perform any other duties which from time to time may be required to ensure the smooth running of the finance department.
* Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
* Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments,and similar accounting entries.
* Budgeting and forecasting.
* Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts.
* Preparing accounts to Trial Balance
* Monthly Management Accounts packs including journals.
* Mentoran Assistant Accountant
* Work closely with the FD and pick up any ad hoc finance duties.
SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT KEYEXPERIENCE:
* Recently qualified CIMA or ACCA Accountant or Finalist
* Sage software experience is desirable.
* Advanced Excel skills
* Working within a similar SME environment is desirable.
THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT SALARY IS UP TO£60,000 BASE + BENEFITS + HYBRID WORKING
