Description:
My client, a leading engineering-driven company headquartered in Ireland, is looking for a Senior Qualified Accountant to join the professional team in the Finance Department.
Some ofyour main Responsibilities will include:
* Take ownership of monthly account management processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
* Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to senior management.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
* Conduct variance analysis, highlighting key drivers and contributing factors.
* Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, assisting in the development of financial plans and strategies.
* Support audits and liaise with external auditors.In order to be successful you will have:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Fully qualifiedACCA, CIMA, ACA, or CPA.
* Minimum of 1 year Irish exposure within an accounting role.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience ina senior accounting role, preferably within a multinational environment.
* Proven track record in monthly account management and financial reporting.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
* Ability and willingness to be onsite, as required.
