Description:
My client, the leading ESG advisory practice in Ireland, is looking for a Sustainable Finance Professional to join their team. The job is permanent, hybrid and could be based is Dublin, Galway, Cork or Belfast.
As a Sustainable Finance Professional your work will focus predominantly on engagements related to sustainable finance across several industries, and you may also support the team on wider engagements to broaden your exposure to the evolving ESG agenda. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional looking to build upon their acumen and experience to make an impact in the global transition to a low carbon future.
In order to be successful. you will bring:
* Bachelor's degree from atop-tier university, with Master's degree in relevant field a plus
* 4+ years of experience in sustainability, climate change,sustainable finance
* Strong understanding of key sustainability trends in Ireland and the EU, from regulations to public commitments and the impacts of climate on both corporate entities and financial portfolios
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfort working with numbers / quantitative models
* Ability to think strategically, break down complex problems and communicate them with ease both in oral and written communication
* Demonstrate critical thinking to challenge existing processes both with clients and within team
* Experience in leading teams, creating inclusive environments, and motivating team members
* Demonstrate project management skills, including developing and overseeing the successful execution of project plans, budgets, deliverables, billing, and collections.
