My client are a retained recruitment specialist who focus on the recruitment of finance directors, financial controllers and heads of finance into high growth, high potential businesses. The companies they work with cross sectors and locations but are united in their requirement for strong, broadly skilled and tenacious individuals who understand how their roles unlock value and enhance returns.
They are looking for qualified finance recruitment consultants who have undergone strong training, who are now sick of the KPIs and low fees and are looking for a grown up relationship driven environment. Someone who is enthusiastic, can build and maintain comprehensive candidates and client networks as well as having the ability to understand thenature of early stage, high growth businesses. My client has a very good name in the space, 99% of the business is called in orreferred, as an example, they placed the Finance Head of a huge drinks brand 5 years ago. He has now taken it to the stock market to float and they placed the other senior members of his finance team as he worked his way up.
Their clients include: Private equity/venture capital backed businesses; Owner managed businesses; AIM listed businesses; Start-ups/pre revenue businesses; Newly de-merged businesses; Businesses looking to list. Most of what they do is retained and if not exclusive contingent. Usually terms at 25/30% so they work on large fees. Everyone works hard and are committed, it is grown up but nobody stays after 6pm.
